Sports Teams
Our school values sport and physical activities, providing multiple opportunities for students in a range of programs.
Students have the opportunity to take part in inter-school competitions. Bowen Public School regularly enters teams in touch football, rugby league, softball, hockey and basketball competitions.
Creative and Performing Arts
At Bowen Public School, students have many chances to learn about and enjoy the arts. We offer lots of activities outside the classroom for our students to explore and develop their creativity. This includes: school productions, assembly items, choir, dance groups, eisteddfods and visual arts competitions.
Student Leadership Opportunities
At Bowen, we provide opportunities for students to build confidence, responsibility, communication, collaboration, empathy, initiative, resilience and a strong sense of belonging.
Hands-on learning opportunities
