Enrol
Come and visit us before you enrol
Starting a new school is an important step, and we are here to help make the transition smooth, welcoming and positive for every child and family.
We invite you to contact us to organise a school tour, meet our friendly staff, explore our classrooms and facilities, and discover what makes Bowen Public School a great place to learn, grow and belong.
Bowen Public School welcomes enrolments throughout the school year. Contact us to find out how your child can join our school community.
How we support your child through our Transition Programs
For future Kindergarten enrolments we offer our Little Learners Transition to Kindergarten Program, which starts early Term 4.
Our Little Learners program is a wonderful way for children to become familiar with school, build confidence and feel ready for their first days at Bowen. It also gives our staff time to get to know your child, discover their interests and strengths, and welcome your family into the Bowen Public School community.
Transition to High School
At Bowen Public School, we work closely with our local high schools to help make the move to Year 7 as smooth and positive as possible. We regularly meet with high school staff to share what we know about our students — their strengths, interests, achievements and the ways they learn best — so every child feels known, valued and cared for as they take their next step.
For more information about how we support your child and smooth transitions go to the What We do Wellpage.
