Supporting your children and our school

Bowen Public School continues to build the social and emotional capacity of all students, enabling them to participate productively in school life and the wider community. Parents are critical to this goal and we are fortunate to have a committed community for the betterment of our school.

Parents can support us through a variety of programs such as workshops to learn about ‘how children learn' and what their children need to learn to be productive citizens in the 21st Century. Additionally, parents can join in and support programs such as Parents as Teacher and Classroom Helpers program training, School Chaplaincy, Men's Shed, IGA and Mountain Hope Breakfast Programs.

Parents and Citizens' Association achieve many things to develop the life of our school. It supports our school via face-to-face meetings to plan and improve the opportunities for all our students.

Our Parents and Citizens' Association meet on the first Monday of each month in the school Library at 2:30 pm to plan projects and raise funds.
